Novotel Taiping

The Premier King Room was ideal for my family, allowing us to enjoy our stay comfortably with plenty of space for my kids to play. The strong water pressure in the shower really helped refresh everyone after our outings. The location made it super convenient, as we could easily stroll to attractions like the Taiping Mall and the beautiful Taiping Lake Garden, which was lovely to walk around. The breakfast buffet had good variety and was enjoyable, especially with views of the lush greenery. A great place for a family getaway!

The location is comfortable and really close to the Taiping Mall which was lots of food options and a cinema too as well as super market. Besides, we liked the lake, located within 20 mins walk of the hotel.

I was happy, the a twin room I booked came with sofa and the mountain view, as for instance. In general the service was excellent. The location was strategic as for me, close to Taiping Mall which has f&b outlets and zoo, lake gardens, food huntings and the centre of Taiping. It also was right in the center of the town.

We got a new-fashioned a double room. The property was in the middle of the city. The lunch in Penang Chee Cheong Fun next to the hotel had every choice imaginable👌

Had good sleep at the double room with toiletries and a single bed. Had absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location near to all Taiping attractions, minutes from Taiping Mall.

The Premier King Room offered fine views and spacious comfort. The parking at level 6 was inconvenient.

Staying here was such a disappointment. Parking was just a maze-couldn't they mark the spaces better? I almost left a glowing review, but not receiving any special treatment for my 'troubles' just ruined it.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, easily accommodating my family with two young kids. The toiletries provided were of high quality. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, ensuring everyone could find something they liked. We also enjoyed a lovely lake view from our room that my family appreciated.

Unfortunately, we faced problems with the air conditioning which could have been managed better.

The staff were attentive and informative, especially when I had a mishap with my luggage.

While the hotel has great potential, several aspects left me disappointed. The pool area appeared neglected with tiles that looked grime-ridden, which certainly detracted from the experience. The service was annoyingly slow. I had to remind them twice before I received the towels in my room. I believe a little more attention to detail could have.

The pool offers fantastic views, and it's perfect for doing laps. Plus, the nearby lake gardens were a beautiful sight!

I loved the spacious Premier King Room with its fine views! The bed was comfortable. The room was super clean and included all the amenities I could ask for, like high-quality toiletries and a safe deposit box.

All fine, but outdated TV

The location of novotel is perfect, right next to taiping mall. The superior king room was very spacious and comfortable, and the kids loved the swimming pool. We also enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace.

the gym could use some updates.

Had a blast with my friends! We explored the Taiping Lake Garden and the Night Safari, both amazing spots. The hotel had an excellent gym and a pool to unwind. Breakfast was great, and the location made getting around easy. Totally recommend this place if you're in the area with friends!

Check-in was a bit slow. We had to wait longer than expected for our room, frustrating.

I really loved the spacious Premier King Room, and the views were fantastic. The proximity to local food stalls was a huge plus. However, the breakfast could be better.
